Presented at the Barbican Centre, the works in this exhibition draw on the bodies of work of Mona Hatoum and Alberto Giacometti.
Among the works on display will be iconic pieces by Giacometti such as Femme égorgée (1932), Le Nez (1947) - recontextualised by Hatoum in her own works, Cube (2006) - and La Cage (1950-51).
Hatoum also presents existing works from throughout her career, including some that have never been shown before in the United Kingdom, alongside numerous new works created especially for this exhibition.
This exhibition is the second in a series of three dialogues with Alberto Giacometti. It was preceded by an encounter with Huma Bhabha and will conclude with Lynda Benglis, co-organized with the Barbican Centre.
