10 500 € for paintings with an insurance value that is equal or higher than 10 000 000 € declared by the applicant (the costs are higher for insurance and organizational purposes)
5 000 € for decorative art objects
1 500 € for brooches, medaillons et jewellery
6 500 € for sculptures
10 500 € for sculptures with an insurance value that is equal or higher than 10 000 000 € declared by the applicant. (The costs are higher for insurance and organizational purposes)
If additional tests are necessary, the costs will be at the owner's expense.
To assure the traceability of the oeuvres of an edition authenticated but not numbered, the Giacometti Committee will request their numbering, or their marking. Authenticated artwork will be add to the Alberto Giacometti Database (AGD), prepared by the Fondation Giacometti.
Unauthenticated works will also be marked.
