Reproducing an artwork
General rules of reproduction
Images must have been legally provided by the Fondation Giacometti, Paris (photolibrary (at) fondation-giacometti.fr - 01 44 54 34 85), or by an authorized distributor:
- Bridgeman Art Library (http://www.bridgemanimages.com).
Under condition of validation of the layout and unless expressly agreed otherwise, the general rules of reproduction are the following:
The minimum caption bears the nam of the author, the title of the work and the date of creation.

Please, ask for the due credit line in your country.
No modification of the image will be allowed. Works have to be reproduced in full, including the bronze pedestals. A detail may be reproduced if the work appears in full in the same medium.
No overprint is permitted.
High-resolution images will be used only on print or in videos.
On the Internet will be used only images in low-resolution (maximum resolution: 72 ppi) and of reduced size (maximum: 800 x 800 pixels).
No stocking in a bank of images and no transfer to any third party is permitted.
Procedure
Please, send a layout to rights (at) fondation-giacometti.fr (01 44 54 34 85) and to ADAGP (www.adagp.fr), and specify the following elements:
- provenance of the image file,
- nature of the medium: book, brochure, merchandise, video…
- author, editor etc.
- quantity of items producted,
- retail price, if any.
The Fondation Giacometti, Paris, manages itself and directly its copyright share in the estate (62,5%). Please, contact t.aubry (at) fondation-giacometti.fr. The other heirs are represented by the ADAGP (www.adagp.fr).
Restricted uses
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, uses of works by Giacometti as illustrations for documents about slimming, anorexia or mental disorders are not permitted.
Promotion of a political group is not permitted.
