Artist Lisa Dwan, award-winning actress in theater, film and television, is recognized for her performances in adaptations of the works of Samuel Beckett. Trained by Billie Whitelaw, Beckett's muse, she is considered her artistic heiress. With this online meeting, Lisa Dawn will present in an immersive presentation the role of dance in Beckett's work and the conversations he has with the human body. This lecture and performance, A Body of Beckett, is both an exploration of Beckett's work and the vast metaphysical world in which our identities exist.
