Reading of texts by Marguerite Duras and Alberto Giacometti about a fly

Douglas Gordon, Film Noir (Fly), 2008
By the Jeune Troupe of the La Colline - Théâtre national
What could be more insignificant than an ordinary fly? In the collective imagination it is a calamity that brought plague and cholera. It provokes neither pity nor sympathy. Through texts by Marguerite Duras, Alberto Giacometti and two works by Douglas Gordon, the actors of the Jeune Troupe of the La Colline - Théâtre national invite us to look at the existence of an ordinary fly in a different way.
