Is a sculpture only meant to be contemplated, or could one, as Giacometti wrote about the Project for a Square, "walk on it, sit on it and lean on it"? Our second panel discussion will look at 'usable' projects in contemporary art. Our guests will discuss Isamu Noguchi's playgrounds or Niki de Saint-Phalle's marvellous Tarot Garden; the artist Raphaël Zarka will return to the involvement of the viewer's body in his sculptural work.

Speakers
Vincent Romagny (teacher in aesthetics at the ENSBA in Lyon)
Lucia Pesapane (art historian)
Raphaël Zarka (artist)

Moderator
Émilie Bouvard (scientific director of the Fondation Giacometti)
