Into the Woods | A Musical Reading

A Musical Reading
Olivia Rosenthal, Eryck Abecassis, Amélie Durand, Xavière Fertin, Philippe Foch
Paris, France
At the Institut Giacometti

For one evening, the Giacometti Institute invites you into the woods with writer Olivia Rosenthal, composer Eryck Abecassis, poet Amélie Durand, and musicians Xavière Fertin (clarinets) and Philippe Foch (stones and percussion).

Together, the artists will create an atmosphere designed to welcome Giacometti’s standing figures and heads. They will present an entirely new sound piece, with or without words, with or without music, alternating between duets, trios and quartets, solo clarinet performances or clarinet accompanied by percussion, and readings accompanied by electronic sounds.

The performance will unfold in a series of short sequences, flowing almost continuously, immersing the audience in an environment that is both welcoming and slightly wild.

To allow the audience to fully enjoy the experience, refreshments will be provided and are included in the admission price.
